Nigerian crypto firms have secured $20 million in funding in 2024, despite a turbulent year in Africa’s largest market. However, CBEX, a crypto platform, has collapsed, leaving victims in Nigeria and Kenya, with estimated losses exceeding $800 million. Meanwhile, South Africa is set to host the Wiki Finance Expo on August 16, 2025, with top crypto influencers and founders, including Justin Sun of Tron, invited to attend.
